I saw Polly Jean in Reading Festival, and found myself transfixed, like a toddler introduced to his first sparkler. She has an almost indescribable unconventional allure. And she rocks too.

Mind-Boggling PJ Non-Fact - PJ Harvey is not related to machete-and-tyre-magnet Brian Harvey, as far as I'm aware. So don't expect any duets of 'Love - Let It Rain' anytime soon.

I bloody love her to an unholy degree. I saw her at Glastonbury wearing a Spice Girls dress and bright pink stilettos. She kept flashing her pants.

I'd have hoped for an awkward rendition of Afternoon Delight instead.

She is truly a stunnah. A stunnah with brains AND a voice.

I've become very fond of 'You Said Something' recently. It is romantic without being romantic.

PJ is clearly a popular choice. But will she be as well received as PJ and Duncan, who are rumbling up next?

I lived just over the border in Somerset and my dad has a cattle farm, although we didn't live on the actual farm. This story is getting worse and worse as time goes on. Bugger.
